DRIVING DIRECTIONS

bacconists or vending machines. Tickets are sold on a time basi
s - one-hour, two-hour or 24-hour tickets. Traffic is restricte
d in the city centre and parking is expensive, so the centre of
Florence is best explored on foot. Taxis wait outside Santa Ma
ria Novella Station.
Driving directions: From the ai
rport take the A1 Motorway in the direction of Firenze Centro,
from the centre follow Viale Guidoni, turn into Viale Redi, and
then into Piazza della Liberta, turn right into Via Cavour.
